Paris Hilton and her businessman beau were spotted shopping for engagement rings in New York City on Friday, People.com reported. The couple, who started dating last summer, reportedly went to Jacob & Co, where they discussed the various diamond rings for sale. "They were really cute together," a source told the mag. "Paris was making comments about the rings and joking that her ring has to be at least 24 carats." But according to Hilton's rep, the pair was just "shopping in New York looking for something special for Paris's 30th birthday." The socialite, who turned 30 on Thursday, left the store "sporting a $25,000 white gold and black diamond encrusted ring," the eyewitness revealed to People. Hilton told Ryan Seacrest last week that Waits is "the best boyfriend on Earth." But don't take that as a sure sign of impending nuptials – it's hardly the first time Hilton has heaped superlatives on a love interest. The fickle heiress was previously engaged to Greek shipping heir Paris Latis as well as model Jason Shaw, and spoke of marrying former boyfriends Benji Madden and Doug Reinhardt.
